Next Week: Burn Pit live from Gitmo

I am headed to Gitmo this weekend to attend the hearings for five of the top Al Qaeda guys before the military commissions set up there:

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed - "the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks"

Walid bin Attash - The Office of the Director of National Intelligence described him as a "scion of a terrorist family".

Ramzi bin al-Shibh - He is accused of being a "key facilitator for the September 11 attacks"

Mustafa al-Hawsawi - He allegedly is an organizer and financier of the September 11 attacks in the United States.

Ammar al-Baluchi - (From Wiki) U.S. officials allege that the majority of money that came to the United Arab Emirates hijackers from the September 11 attacks was transferred through Baluchi and Mustafa al-Hawsawi.[3][4] The 9/11 Commission reported that he "helped them with plane [sic] tickets, traveler's checks, and hotel reservations", and "taught them about everyday aspects of life in the West, such as purchasing clothes and ordering food".

So anyway, the DoD has offered to let me stay at Gitmo and watch the week long hearings next week.  I hope to be updating the blog every day with posts and video.  The video though may not happen, because I am led to understand that the internet there isn't all that good, and it might take forever to even upload to youtube.  We'll see.

Either way, I will have a videographer with me, and we'll be doing a nightly video update of what happened.  You just might not get to see it until I get back.

Either way, stay tuned to the blog next week for updates from Gitmo!
